Model 7041 flange adapter – ansi class 125/150 Shurjoint Edcos

The Model 7041 Flange Adapter allows for a direct connection with ANSI class 125/150 flanges.  The specially designed gasket enables the transition from a grooved system to a flanged system or component with this single flange adapter.  The two-segment design provides an easy and fast installation. 2” through 12” flange adapters are supplied hinged as a single assembly, while 14” - 24” (Model 7041N) are supplied with two separate segments and a draw kit.  All include an EPDM rubber gasket and plated track bolts and nuts.  Housing segments are supplied with our standard painted finishes, i.e. orange or RAL3000 red.  Optional finishes such as hot dipped zinc galvanized and custom epoxy coatings are available.

MODEL Z05 RIGID COUPLING

- Angle-Pad Design -

The Shurjoint Model Z05 is an angle-pad design rigid coupling for moderate pressure piping services including fire mains, long straight runs and valve connections.  The angle-pad design allows the coupling housings to slide along the bolt pads when tightened.  The result is an offset clamping action which provides a rigid joint which resists so called ‘snaking’ of a long straight run.  Support and hanging requirements correspond to ANSI B31.1, B31.9 and NFPA 13. With the removal of only one bolt you can make a fast and easy "swing-over” installation.

The Shurjoint Model Z05 is available with a standard “C”shaped or GapSeal gasket in a variety grades to meet your specific service requirements.

MODEL K-9 RIGID COUPLING

- T&G Design -

The Shurjoint Model K-9 is a T&G (tongue & groove) design coupling for moderate pressure applications where rigidity is required including valve connections, mechanical rooms, fire mains and long straight runs.  The built-in teeth and T&G mechanism firmly grasp the pipe ends to eliminate undesired flex.  Support and hanging requirements correspond to ANSI B31.1, B31.9 and NFPA 13.

The Model K-9 couplings are comprised of two identi­cal housing segments, EPDM rubber gasket and plated track bolts and nuts.  Housing segments are supplied with our standard painted finishes, i.e. orange or RAL3000 red.  Optional finishes such as hot dipped zinc galvanized and custom epoxy coat­ings are available.

Model C-7 Outlet Coupling Shurjoint Edcos

MODEL C-7 OUTLET COUPLING

The Model C-7 Outlet Coupling combines the features of a coupling and a reducing outlet.  The C-7 is a joining device with an integral reducing outlet, eliminating the need for a mechanical tee or a reducing tee and couplings.  The C-7 is available with grooved, male threaded or female threaded outlets.  The C-7 coupling is recommended for fire sprinkler services and other applications up to 300 psi (20 Bar) depending on the size and schedule of pipe being used.  The C-7 can be used for dry pipe systems or vacuum services up to -10 inHg or 254 mmHg which may occur when the system is drained.  All Model C-7 couplings are com­prised of an upper and lower ductile iron housings segment, EPDM rubber gasket and plated track bolts & nuts.  Hous­ings segments are supplied with our standard painted finishes, i.e. orange or RAL3000 red.  Optional finishes such as hot dipped zinc galvanized and custom epoxy coatings are available.

Model 72C Cut Grooved  Outlet Fitting  Shurjoint

The Model 72C cut grooved outlet fittings are designed to take out a grooved-end outlet at any desired position of the header with one weld-pass.   The Model 72C is made of standard wall (Sch.40) pipe with the carbon range of 0.05% – 0.25%. The Model 72C is most recommended for connection with the Sch. 40 header pipe. The weld end is provided with a 1.6 mm land around the full circumference to assure full penetration weld. The 72C fittings are recommended for services up to 300 psi (20 Bar).

Recommended Hole Sizes
The holes can be cut prior or subsequent to installation of the R-Let. The advantage of cutting a hole after welding is that
the pipe will stay intact during welding and eliminates the likelihood of shrinkage and or distortion of the pipe. If holes
are cut prior to welding, as some codes require, refer to the recommended hole saw sizes listed.

Edcos.- Hurricane Pumping System .- Huracane Irma

Edcos Hurricane Pumping System

The Hurricane Pumping System is driven by an industrial power unit and either mounted within a skid or on a trailer. The pump can be either an end-suction or horizontal split case. 

The Hurricane can operate as either a single pump unit located at the draft source or in a series as a relay pump. The unit is equipped with passive safety features such as engine monitoring and prevention of over-pressurization of the discharge hose. The Hurricane also features a Spectrum control panel that allows both RPM control or discharge pressure control, allowing the user flexibility during operation.
